Craving protein

Ever since I have started trying to eat properly, I have noticed my protein cravings have increased. I normally try to add some to every meal, either eggs, chicken, peanutbutter etc, and I notice if I miss adding protein into one meal I feel starved without it. It will become all I can think about. When I was younger I never really ate meat except when I craved it, and now it seems like it is all the time? should I be worried?
Any ideas, advice would be great. Thanks in advance.
 
i've never heard about such a craving, but i think it would make our lives a lot easier if we all had these cravings as it is really hard to get all the protein we need in a day
 
U r not alone....since I started losing the fat...weight has stayed the same, lot more cut up, and the love handles have disappeared....but I HAVE TO HAVE peanuts....with breakfast, snack whatever. Tuna fish is also high on the list (with sunflower oil) straight out of the can.....Fat free-refried beans with salsa and low fat cheese.....For days on end....
