Couple Questions

I really want to build strength more then anything! more then looks!

but what im not sure is, i see like tuff as nail dudes benching a lot, but they only do like.... 3 ! they arnt even reps...

so what im wondering is to get stronger, should i force my body to left things that are really challenging, even though i do fewer

or do medium weight, but more?

ie.) 10 benches at 100 as to 25 benches at 60....

or... does it make a difference?

and also... when i excercise a lot of my joints feel like they want to dislocate... like when im benching my shoulds feel like it, when i work out my tri-s, my elbo feels like it and when i do dumbbells, my wrists feel like it... is it lack of warmup?

You will want to do anywhere from 1 to 8 reps heavy. Look for Bill Starr's 5X5 program it's a nice little strength program or Max-OT.

No idea about your joints dude, make sure you keep good form.

Good call on the 5X5. You definately want to be warming up. Your joints might just be adapting, pay attention to your body and follow accordingly.

need to get good. your form is probably jacked up thats why your shoulders are almost dislocating. search it on google.

Warm-up, form, form, form, mobility (especially hips) and stability work (enough dumbbell and free weight work, some raw snatches and cleans wouldn't do harm either if you can work out the form and it won't step on your personal goals), upper back work (especially horizontal rows), rotator cuff work, core work, triceps work and unilateral leg work. Get atleast a bit of all these to your training and you can't go wrong.

As for reps: 1) read about different views 2) try and see what works best for you. If you're a beginner, then with 8-12 reps you can't go wrong. With couple of months of this, get to fewer reps, but not to failure as you want to keep your form. Anything between 1-12 reps, with emphasis on 3-6 reps and you can't go wrong.
