Could use some advice

Hello All!
I am currently at 145 pounds, 5 foot 6 inches and would like to lose some weight. I mainly want to get a flat stomach. I have been working out 3 days a week and cutting carbs. I was wondering if this sounds correct? Do you think I will see results? Is there any more I should do? Any advice/tips I GREATLY appreciate.

I'm going to estimate that you're BMR is about 2,000.


How many calories are you eating daily? Can you please write down exactly how many calories you eat in one day? (Kind of like a diary, update it per snack/meal). Continue doing that for the next 6 days, but post the first day here so we may see what your general diet consists of. I ask this because you could be eating too many calories, or not enough. Both will negatively impact your desired results.

To be honest, you're in the normal BMI range. If anything you should start doing lots of abdominal exercises to attempt the toning of your abdomen. Do you eat a lot of protein each day?

PS: Does your name imply that you like the Pittsburgh Steelers? If so, then go Steelers :D
 
Thank you for your response. To be honest with you, I have no idea how many calories I intake. I was counting carbs, not calories. I was also wondering, do you have any tips for lunch ideas? Fast food can be tricky but I know it can be done. What can I eat from various fast food chains?

Do you have a subway near you? a 6" Subway sub would be your best bet if you were looking to just eat out.
