Cottage cheese

Sorry bud just dont like making loads of new threads for such a small question. Maybe on rivitas at night then so low on carbs (sorry for spelling on rivetas.

there are many many many threads on here about every aspect of diet, carb placement, timing of macro nutrients, ect. Chillen is the most informational member. Find some of his posts in other peoples threads and you will find what you are looking for.

I eat about 1 to 1.5 cups a day. I'll eat it plain or with a liittle salt and pepper. Good stuff.

I eat half a tub of cottage cheese every day I love it.. In the UK you can buy it with either chives, pinapple or peppers in and they all taste great. I generally go for the chives but am also keen on the pinapple one too so usually buy both... Its all good

haha... some of the posts on this thread are brilliant! :yelrotflmao: i was about to start a new thread about cottage cheese when this caught my eye. i just started eating it about a week ago and have to choke it down every day! i feel like i'm doing a shot of 100 proof whiskey on every bite! the taste and texture are absolutely awful.. i'll take some of the tips posted in this thread and put them to use. hopefully i can find a recipe that'll at least stop the dry-heaves! glad to know i'm not alone on this though!

peace!

I like the ones with cherry and pineapple in it.

I’ll mix it with yogurt and sliced banana and oatmeal, or without the oat meal use it as a heavy spread on my toasted wheat bagel. Instead of oatmeal you could go with grapenuts or something.

I usually have light n lively fat free cottage cheese for lunch. I normally put either strawberries or blueberries in it. When I first started to eat cottage cheese, I was barfing it down also. I couldn't stand the texture, taste, site, or smell of it. But trust me, after a while of barfing it down, you get used to it....LOL! The best part of cottage cheese is that it keeps you satisfied for a while. and if you mix in the strawberries and blueberries well, it "almost" tastes like yogurt, just not as good as yogurt. Or maybe I'm just wishing it were yogurt. Anyway, sometimes I put fresh strawberries/blueberries, or even frozen ones are good with it if you are worried about the fresh ones going bad quickly.

Cottage cheese in one of the most versatile cheeses around, and with its soft texture and rather mild taste it's an easy food for almost anyone to enjoy. In addition to being versatile, cottage cheese can be a nutritious addition to almost any diet.
