Cost...

Since i am new and just joined a Gym.

ROUGHLY what is the Price range of Using a Per. Trainer?

I am at LA Fitness. In The Dallas/Fort Worth Area.

Thanks

MIKE

varies from gym to gym

depends.

like 24 Hour Fitness, sells 5 sessions for rougly $289 or so, 10 would be $590 and yadda yadda.

Yes, I'd recommend that if your starting out in the gym, hire a personal trainer. Try for like 10 sessions, & if you like it. pay for more. =] I would say, if you didn't have someone to guide your way in the beginning, you will probably be wasting your time in the gym.

& also

with personal training:

your body measurements as well as body fat % will be recorded and every few weeks, it will be retaken to see what your progress is.

&

you will receive a simple food/diet program that custom fits your lifestyle, if you follow what your trainer tells you in the time alotted. you can reach your goal faster than if you were to do it ALONE.

I'd spend at least one session with a PT and up to three to work on your form with squat and deadlift...that is, if you are going to be doing these movements.

They can range quite a bit in price range. You'll find them from $25-50 an hour or more. I'm related to Dr. Ken Cooper (my cousin's dad is his brother), who has the Cooper Aerobics Center in your area; the cost their to join is $230 a month, so I can just imagine what their PTs charge.
<---No, I'm not advertising...this place just freaks me out whenever I see it from just the sheer size of it.
