Controlling those cravings

Hey all

what are some things that you guys do to control your cravings?

also is 30 minutes of cardio a day good or no? I burn about 400 calories per workout.
 
Eat lots of fiber and space your meals about 3hours apart.

Fiber - Oats, Whole Wheat Bread/pasta, brown rice, fruit, veggies, flax seed etc

You can buy a fiber supplement also.
 
Excellent advice. Also, try to control your mind by not letting it think about those cravings. Mood swings are a nemesis of course also.
 
i repeat my goals to myself over and over and then go grab some carrots. lol it works though and if that doesn't i look at pictures of my kids and think - i want to be the best role model i can be for them. and that stops it dead. :)
 
Yeah carrots are good !! also i just try to do somthing to get my mind off it like go for a surf but only if its over 30 deg C !!!! hahahaha :)
 
Once I started fueling my body better and more regularly, my cravings went away.

As far as the 30 mins of cardio goes.....I would work towards an hour. There is also the variable of what heart rate you are working at which is critical as to whether you are really training your body to be more efficient (ie. burn fat)
