Ok, I went to SparkPeople and set up a food tracker and all. Sunday through Wednesday shouldn't be a problem at all.
My confusion comes in my work schedule for the end of the week. Mon through Wed I work 6am - 2:30pm. So, I'm in bed by 8:30 or so, no big deal. However, Thursday and Friday I work 10pm - 6:30am. So basically I'm up almost 24 hours on Thursday and into Friday, then sleep until the afternoon and then I'm up for Friday until I get off work Saturday morning. I go back to sleep when I get home on Saturday and sleep for part of the afternoon, then get up and try to go back to bed at a descent time Sat night to be a "normal" person on Sun and do it all again starting Monday.
Now, when tracking food: Should I count a day as the time between the time I get out of bed and the time I get back in bed? Or is it the time between midnight one day and midnight the next? It just seems odd to me to be wriging down "breakfast" at 3:30 in the afternoon. And then on days like Thursday, I end up with breakfast at a normal time, lunch, supper, and then a 2nd meal while I'm at work (8 hours constantly going is a long time to go without some sort of meal!). Yesterday, I ate when I got up for the day, and that was late enough that I didn't eat anything else until my "lunch" at work - at 1:30am. So would lunch have been yesterday, since I hadn't been to sleep yet? Or today, since it was technically after midnight on the 9th?
See my problem?? LOL.
Thanks!
