Confused....Once a week is better?

I war reading this article in the magazine and it says its better to do once a week muscle exercise, for example do chest, shoulder, etc. once a week for better recovery.I just wonder i this kind of exercise good for gaining mass and strenght?Cause im really confused right now.And then i was searching in the internet it says its better to do twice a week muscle group pls.

Even brad pitt does have once a week muscle group

Everyone is different and everyone needs variety. The current cycle of methodoligy seems to be geared towards full body routines 3 days a week. Many people still do split routines where they hit every muscle group once or twice per week. I have done both, had success with both and this week took a whole other direction. That is working two groups that I want to imporve EVERYDAY, while doing a full body routine 3 days a week. This is taken from Chad Waterbury's Perfect 10 article.
Choose one way now in and eight to twelve weeks go aother direction. Your body thrives variety.

i have heard that 3 times a week, full body workout is the best, as your body is made to use everything at once and not just one thing one day.

Yea same 3 day full body, but i have also heard that doing the set more often builds it more ie: the more weekly weight that your lifting is better for you. I dont know if this is true but by this thinking wouldnt it be better to lift every day?

Remember, we gain when we're recovering and resting...so no, everyday wouldn't be better. Hit each muscle group 2-3 times a week and you'll be fine.

I've done once a week for quite a while, and have also done 3 times a week workouts.

The biggest difference I noticed was being sore much longer when I did once a week. Working your muscles more often makes your body recover quicker. That's really the biggest difference I noticed. I saw gains doing it both ways.

I prefer 3 times a week now as that seems to be best for strength training. The CNS supposedly recovers quicker than muscles. When I move to higher rep training in other weeks, I cut it down to twice a week.

More weekly weight = gaining muscle? Would it be better to do about 3 sets of 5 then 3 sets of 5 like 30 mins later. I think you need to go up with weekly weight but w/o losing your intensity. Anyway 6 sets in one day 3 times a week or 3 sets every day? Resting is good and the claim is 48 hours but how about no sore no gain?

i do split workouts, i have a two day schedule, which i do at least 2 times a week each workout, meaning at least 4 days. If i had more time I would do a full workout 3-4 times a week, but i dont have the time to be at the gym for 4 hours a day, so i split it up.

O wow impressive. the next time you go back to the gym how do you feel? exhausted or fresh as new. Are you kind of new to the scene and just trying stuff out or you got this plan just through trial and error and you think this set up owns!

i read that advice in REPS Magazine..... Also i was reading this article in askmen.com about the celebrity workout what they do is they split the workout and they only do once a week muscle group.Just wondering guys is this thing happend when you guys train.I feel like im already failing in my second set even though im doing low weight exercise. Its just i feel like im having a cramp.Ive been training for a while now but in unknown reason i feel like im getting week.

From what I have seen, seems like people struggle right off the bat. The first rep is supposed to be hard and so is the last. Sure you get weak at the second set give it like 3 minutes ur energy should be back up to 100% if you cant do it just decrease weight a bit maybe your over steppin your self.
