Confused Newcomer!

I would just like to say hello to everyone out there. I decided to join the forum because next month I am due to have a gastric balloon, I have to be honest, the majority of posts regarding the balloon have made me want to think twice, is there anybody who has had a relatively reasonable experience with this particular procedure?, I would love to hear from anybody out there, pleasssssssssssse!xx

Of the people I know who have had it, it has been more a headache than anything else. I think there are certainly instances where it's useful in terms of those who are hyper obese and need something drastic for survival.

To undergo it b/c one is unwilling to exert enough self control and effort isn't very respectable IMO.

But we're all unique in values and beliefs so my opinion shouldn't matter to the next Tom, Dick or Harry.
