Hi. This is my first post on these forums, so sorry if I'm in the wrong forum.
I'm a 19 year old overweight guy, about 6 feet tall, 230-240 pounds.
After college, in about 9 months, I plan on going in the USAF. I understand the physical restrictions going in the military and I would like to overcome those before even starting the process.
As of now, I'm an IT major, a geek if you will, I rarely go out, rarely work at or anything like that. I'm willing to change that asap. But, the only problem is, I'm completely clueless on how to go about this. I understand the concept behind dieting and have done minimal research into it, but it's the whole working out thing I'm clueless on.
I'm wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on where a COMPLETE overweight beginner would go to start getting in shape, with a 9 month time restriction.
