Combat the fat review

Hi everyone, I've been lurking on the site as a visitor for quite sometime and decided to sign up! A little introduction, I'm 29, been working out for about 2 years, I'm 5'3, currently 125 pounds and mesomorph body type and I'm from canada (go canada!, eh).

Just wanted to do a review on this program i've been doing for everyone incase anyone wanted to know about it. i've been doing it for these past 9 weeks, it's called combat the fat by jeff anderson. The program is a 130 page + ebook with workout ebook taht costs $47 dollars to purchase. So far from when i started it i have lost 21 pounds and 7% body fat (146 to 125 and 27% to 20%), so thats about 2.3 pounds per week.
I first saw the program while my boyfriend was surfing the web lookign for workout routines. At first I laughed at all the bull**** advertising and big letters and bold font and I thought it looked pretty much lie ka scam. Then after a couple days I looked at it again and figued what the hell, I was getting nowhere with my abs diet program and bored as well. So i bought it and got on it a few days later after i read through and organized my workout. I got scared cause at first i saw some people saying not to use te program cause it was a waste of time, but I can see they probably didn't follow it to well. Also i felt better after i saw some of teh before and after pictures of peopel who went on the program and i was sold.

The program is a fully illustrated with step by step breakdown on eating principles, workout principles, workouts, exercises, diet and measuring your own bodyfat. Everything is in layman terms so it doesn't get to over my head, he explains everything fairly throughly and clearly.

The book itself goes into detailed principles and reasons as to why he has you doing everythign in a certain way, it was a good read, large font, easier terminology, bolded concepts etc.

The program comes with customized diets based on height, age, weight, body type and bodyfat level in a calorie per day format. I found these really convienent and helpful as it takes alot of time to figure out what to make and whats good to eat everyday, but these had weeks of recipes all tailored to my calorie needs already made. The bodyfat measuring guide was nice and easy to do, but it wasn't nice to actualy see what level of body fat i was at!

The workouts are different, they are based on military pyramid training, kinda liek circuit training but harder. There are many levels depending what fitness level your at, there is beginner 1,2,3, intermediate 1,2,3, and advanced 1,2,3. I couldn't do any higher than intermediate 1 because it was just way to much. The workout has slots for each day, you pick from a ton of different exercises and insert them into these slots. Most of the exercises are bodyweight exercises, so it's probably not the best workout for people wanting to do alot of strength training with weigths. Cardio was on days 2 and 4 and it was a 30 minute High intensity training format and it was nice cause he tries to get you to do different machines liek a cardio circuit so you don't get bored. I found the whole program very nice as I was in and out fo the gym in less than 45 minutes and only had to go 3-4 tiems a week, more if i wanted to.

Also a neat tidbit was when i signed up for the program i got tips and customer service via emails taht were sent by jeff. Some tips were real good, some were interesting and some just didn't apply at all, but it was a free bonus so that was nice.

I would give the program a 8 out of 10 because the workouts got a little repetitive if you didn't change your difficulty level as its all structured for you day by day, week by week. I got good fat loss, nothing too crazy, but i was really impressed as it was was easier than the abs diet workout and I lost more weight. Also it was a way better spend than purchasing a months supply of that damn hydroxycut that doesn;t work.

So all in all about a 8 out of 10, here is the link if anyones interest has been peaked by this review. Let me know how the review was! first time i've ever done one! (p.s. turn down your volume when you open the link so it doesn't scare teh **** out of you like it did me!)

Just a couple updates, the book is $39.95, not the 47 i stated in the post
The Combat the fat Ebook is 162 pages
The combat the fat workout guide is 87 pages
The combat the fat nutrition uide is 46 pages
(all Ebook in pdf format)

Also i said it was HIIT type running but i must have been tired that night, it's actually based on your vo2 max, on days 2,4,6, he wants you to do moderate impact cardio which is around 65% of your vo2 max, and after your quick workouts he wants you to do 15 min after your workout at 65% as well, he includes a vo2 max calculator.
