Hey everyone,
I honestly have really never found my self in this position before. I have been about 6'3'' since I was a junior in highschool. I was on the track team, played football, skateboarded, and a lot of other activities. At my highest I weight about 195 lbs, but I have found my self in trouble and can't seem to get out. About 14 months ago I broke my ankle, shin, and foot. And have been extremely inactive since then. Now I find my self at 240 lbs and completely out of my element. I never used to have to worry about what I ate or anything like that, but now I being a college student, 21, and having no time to actually figure this out, I feel like I need to take control and get myself back to where I need to be. I know i'll never be back in my highschool prime, but I just want to get back to around 200lbs by my brothers wedding at the end of april. I think it may be possible, hopefully.

Thanks all!

How about this...

What were you doing when you were in prime physical condition? And why can't you do those things now?

I don't mean to be sarcastic, but the answer to losing fat is eating less and healthily while moving more than you currently do. It's not rocket science. So I'm trying to figure out what exactly the problem is in your case. Is it a matter of willpower/motivation?

If so what excites you about reaching a good physical condition again?

Do you drink alcohol? I know I witness a lot of friends pack on the pudge in college and it primarily came from moving less than they used to and adding the additional calories from alcohol to their diets.

I know i'll never be back in my highschool prime,

Why?
