Cohens vs body cure

Losin it!

Hi is anyone on Cohen's diet? I am new here and have looked at other posts but all date back around 2006.

I only have around 5 kgs of fat to lose and am wondering if Cohen's is right for me. it is pretty pricey so dont want to invest if its just a very low cal low carb diet, that cannot be stuck to long term...I dont think low cal, low carb is a sustainable lifestyle for the long term.

what happens when you hit the dreaded 3 week wall etc?

From the website it sounds like sureslim.

The other one i am looking into is body cure (perth Western Australia) which is diet and vibration technology. it is around $300 cheaper but you have to go in daily for treatment.

Would love to hear from anyone with suggestions and ideas.

I really want to get rid of my baby fat as I am after all 37 and well hey i'd be cuter without it! LOL

Hi Losin It! I read your post, you have only 5kgs. to lose, so why do you wanna lose it with diet programmes, you can easily lose it within a month with regular exercise and balanced diet...Well just a suggestion as it would definitely raise your fitness levels:)

i second that.. :)

I guess you are both right

Thanks for your replies! I think it may be a mind thing for me...i seem to get to the weight I am now prox 66kgs quite easily then nothing happens...even if i do exercise and keep tabs of what i eat...thats why i was thinking about some added help. I do karate 2x per week and walk, run at least 5x a week. I find everytime i have tried weights i bulk up very quickly to the point that personal trainers end up giving me my money back. I would love to get down to 58kgs and be lean so I thought added help may get me there.

I am finally under the 67 mark - so I know I will never go to 70 again!!

Sorry I am new to this type of communication so am still a bit daft as to how to reply etc!

Ya Losin it, I surely understand what you are saying and how you feel, I am 5."3" and my ideal weight is 51-53 kgs, and I am now at 73 kgs, I did lose weight and was at 67 kgs, a few months back, then again got irregular with exercise and bulked up :(, so for me its a new journey, I have come to accept it that its a life style change that I have to make to keep the weight off as well as maintain my lost weight ,as far as your exercise is concerned its good and if you have hit a plateau, read stickies thread, you can easily move forward with weight loss with a bit of patience :), Good luck and stay focussed :)
