Coffee oil.

I've found lots of opinion on the web whether or not coffee is good for you, but how about the oil in coffee? Does anyone know if it is a healthy oil or not? I imagine it is 'cause it is a bean/seed and well as a plant oil....

I don't know about oil, but check out this comment:

"But, coffee might not be the best "vehicle" to deliver caffeine. It can be hard on the body. Some studies have identified up to 100 known toxins in coffee such as trichloroethylene and pesticides including Dieldrin, Chlordane and Heptachlor that leach into the beans. A study conducted in the Netherlands also found that two ingredients in coffee, cafestol and kahweol, increase serum lipid levels causing a rise in total cholesterol, low-density-lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol and triglycerides. Cafestol and kahweol can also impair liver function."

As for exercise, body building etc. I agree with chriskelly:"But, coffee might not be the best "vehicle" to deliver caffeine."

There are far better products to administer large amounts of caffeine for physical and mental edge. You will need to ask other people on this matter.

It is important to know that coffee is a great drink for physical and mental health.

On the other hand, "it is clear that coffee is not for everyone. In excessive amounts - meaning more than whatever an individual's body can tolerate - coffee can cause nervousness, jitters, and rapid heartbeat.

Although studies investigating any relationship between higher cholesterol levels and coffee have yielded conflicting results, it is believed that in some people, drinking excessive amounts of coffee might cause elevated cholesterol levels.

However, coffee drinkers who consume filtered coffee should not worry themselves with respect to cholesterol levels, because research indicates that it is the coffee oils which are mainly responsible for the rise in cholesterol in people who drink nonfiltered or boiled coffee.

Most recent large studies show no significant adverse affects on most healthy people, although pregnant women, heart patients, and those at risk for osteoporosis may still be advised to limit or avoid coffee. "

Hope this helped in your journey to fitness and peace of mind.

not to mention that most people's cholesterol is not strongly influenced by dietary cholesterol intake...but rather genetics.

Coffee oil

Coffee is not good to our health.
Most people are aware of the ill affect of coffee because of caffeine. Coffee beans have natural oils, but the extreme temperatures in the roasting process deplete its natural oils.
