i think we need more ;)

so list 5 things you hate (or hated when you were fat) about being FAT and 5 things you LOVED while you were thin (or thinner than you are now)


i HATE FAT:

1) red/sore from thighs rubbing together
2) feeling very self concious (hating to leave my house)
3) could only wear sweatpants or i was uncomfortable
4) out of breath easily, tired easily
5) strangers never looked at me twice

what i Loved about being THIN:
1) could wear cute clothes, and the adorable polka dot bikini i once owned :)
2) guys whistled at me when i walked by
3) more energy to do things i enjoyed
4) took more pride in my appearence (wearing makeup for example)
5) was much happier
 
This is great cause I am having troubles trying to get into the groove of things again. During the week I am great and then the weekend comes and it's over, I am back where I started.

Things I hate about being FAT:
1.) Being tired ALL the time
2.) No energy to play ALL day
3.) Full wardrobe I can't wear
4.) Not feeling like I look attractive
5.) How my body feels when I run or jump, (the chubbies)

Love being thinner:
1.) My house was cleaner :eek:
2.) I could play all day :p
3.) Felt better about myself and dressed nice EVERYDAY
4.) Feel great being naked and no covering up
5.) Had a lot of confidence (especially when people would say you have had a child? no way!....hehe I loved that!!!)

I guess everyone has a basic love of what they were like and how much better they feel about themselves being thinner. Not even thin just healthier. I have 2 small children and I have a really hard time keeping up with them everyday. Today we all took a nap together. There wasn't a reason I was just tired. So sad. :(
 
When I am fat:
1)My ass is the size of state Texas
2)My boobs are in my shoes
3)My cheeks are sticking out in all directions
4)I do not fit in my bath tub
5)My hubby treats me as if I am seriously ill
6)People look at me with pitty
7)I hate shopping,can not fit in anything I like
8)I can go on and on ....

When I am thin:
1)I am SOOOOOOO hot,I can't stand it
2)I am so hot,my hubby can't stand it
3)I am kinder to people around
4)I have so much energy!
5)Love shopping!
7)I am happy!
 
What I hate about being fat

1) my health is at risk
2) people see the fat before they see me
3) clothes dont fit
4) big clothes are expensive
5) feel uncomfortable
6) body does not work as effeciently
7) limits the things I feel comfortable doing
8) makes me look older

What I would love about a healthy body weight

1) I am healthier
2) people see me for who I am
3) Clothes fit better
4) clothes cost less
5) feel more agile
6) body is functioning better
7) feel more confident doing things (swimming)
8) look and feel younger
9) over all happier
 
What I hate about being fat
1. Nothing fits right. I'm so sick of over sized tshirts and sweatpants
2. Health Risks
3. No energy. I could sleep all day
4. I look terrible in general
5. Setting a bad example for my kids

What I liked about being thinner
1. Could wear whatever I wanted
2. More energy I was always walking somewhere
3. More selfconfident
4. I fell more attractive to my hubby
5. Happier with myself and life in general
 
This can be motivating, but I think we also should do a What I love about myself NOW section. So we are carring some extra weight, that doesn't mean we don't have lots to offer.

what I love about myself...
1) I am a good mom
2) I am a good wife
3) I love to help others in need
4) I am a good listener
5) I have a good scence of humor
 
what I love about myself:
1) I'm smart
2) I'm have great hair
3) I'm a great friend
4) I have a wonderful relationship with my boyfriend
5) I know what my priorities are
 
What I hate about being fat...
Huh..everything...
I hate it when people say.l.."oooh you'd be so pretty if you just lost the wt"
or..."there's just more of you to love"

I hate chairs that are made for skinny butts and not mine...
I hate always being looked over even when im much prettier and more interesting than my skinny ugly friend!

What I love about me...
lots of stuff!
I am beautiful, a great friend, a terrific lover, enthusiastic, giving, a great mom, willing to live life to the fullest each day, a great cook, a good dancer, a great kisser, i have great friendships that have lasted years, i love to garden and IM good at it too :-D
I am grateful for everyday i have to share w/ the ones i love!
 
What I HATE about being overweight: (trying to keep the list short ... lol*

2. droopy boobs!
3. FLAB
4. low self esteem
5. the way I look naked - or in clothes haha
6. feeling like i'm not "hot" enough for my boy;)
7. health risks
8. looks from other skinny people
9. feeling depressed - like i could sleep forever! ZZZzzzzz
10. no energy

What I look forward to at a healthy weight: (woo hoo!!!!!)
1. clothes ---> cuter!!!! smaller!!!
2. space between my thighs
3. having my bf pick me up!
4. higher self esteem
5. feelin like a hottie
6. less risk for health problems
7. more energy
8. being NAKED!!!
9. happier
10. asking for a single digit jean size!!

What I love about myself as is :):
1. very outgoing
2. my eyes
3. long, thin fingers =) lol
4. pretty face
5. flat stomach - just not toned lol
6. have a great group of friends - fam - boyfriend :)
7. passionate
8. good cook
9. smile
10. white teeth
 
Lol...I couldnt of posted it any better myself then Skinnysomewhere posted it. That all goes for me too!
 
haha* Glad you girls enjoyed that lol =) It's all true though ... the one i'm most excited about is ..... THIGHS NOT TOUCHINg!!! haha* what a day that will be ...
 
thighs not touching...now i have been enjoying that for months now! its awesome! oh the freedom! lol.

and soon i hope when i feel like spending money on myself..single digit jean sizes! hehe, i'm wearing pants that are too big cept for 1 pair of capris but they are 9/10 so its not REAL yet.

and later on if my butt isnt too loose, i can wear a THONG and shake mah booty!!
 
Still not enjoying that freedom...Your so lucky I hate chafed thighs. Single Digit jeans? That is a little twinkle way back as Im a long way from that but god that would be soooooooooo fantastic. I have to but petite and big. I hate it. 9/10 is awesome WW I could only dream.

What I hate about being obese"

1.) Weighing more than the wrestlers on t.v.
2.) sitting in those damn white or green plastic chairs
3.)Steering wheel jabbing me
4.) boobs sitting on top of the table( catching food that falls off my fork leaving stains on my shirt)
5.) people assuming I am less of a human than they are because they are thin
6.) the fact that shaving "any " body part becomes a work out....( its sad when you sweat while you are taking a shower...lol)
7.) Going into Express and they think you are shoplifter because you dont " belong" in that store....

What I will like about being thinner:
1.) being abel to throw on my fiances tshirt and it being baggy on me
2.) crossing my legs the correct way
3.) cheaper and prettier bras
4.) jumping rope and not hear any "smaking sounds"....lol
5.) the healthyness of it all...
6.) to become pregnant

What I love about myself as it is

1.) I am confident with myself as a person
2.) I am not a doormat for anyone
3.) I dont take shit from any man
4.) My fiance thinks I am one of the most sexiest women he has ever met.....and I know it
5.) I am a great friend to have.....
6.) I can shake my bom bom!!!!!!....and not be scared of who is watching!!!
 
Oh this is such a cool thread! It really makes you take the time and think about the positive things about ones self, and the not so positive can only make us stronger!!!

What I dislike about being gravitationally challenged:

1. Not feeling the healthiest that I should.
2. Always worrying about the possibilities of overweight related illnesses.
3. I am deformed! Having to buy plus sized pants and regular Medium/Large sized shirts.
4. Always being so self consious.
5. Wearing longer shirts or jackets to cover the excess junk in my trunk.
6. No sexy workout clothes for the fuller figured woman.
7. Weighing more than my husband
8. Always feeling like I am the biggest person in the room.

What I will love when I am thinner:
1. The wonderful feeling of less health risks.
2. Buying jeans that actually look good.
3. Getting my PCOS under control, and having a baby!
4. Being smaller than my husband
5. Buying an amazing dress for my graduation in June.
6. Getting remarried, and wearing the dress my husband is making for me in a size 10.
7. WOW! being a size 10!!!

What I love about myself:

1. I am a very caring and loving person
2. Awesome personality
3. My crystal blue eyes
4. Independant
5. The first person most people come to for advice
 
It is wonderful to see that you listed so many things you love about yourself. Now, every morning when you get up try to add something new to that list. It's the most important one and should end up being the longest! I could add a couple of things to it myself, but you have to see them for yourself.

What I hate about being my weight now.

1.) Looking at pictures of myself now
2.) Not wanting to wear a bikini
3.) Getting pictures taken!
4.) Not being tiny anymore! (I used to be 110lbs)


What I will like about being thinner:
1.) Wearing a bikini!
2.) Getting pictures taken!
3.) Wearing Lingerie...
4.) Taking the kids to the beach and actually swimming with them!
5.) Wearing Tight Low Rise Jeans!
6.) Being a yummy mummy!


What I love about myself as it is

1.) I have a great sense of humour
2.) My pretty blue eyes
3.) I am extremely patient
4.) My feet! I love my feet.
5.) I am a kind person, but will not let myself be taken advantage of.
