Clueless and new...

Hello everyone, I'm fat. Really fat. Standing at 5'2" and weighing in at a whopping 170 pounds. I wasn't always fat. I used to be thin and muscular... ahh, but those were the Army days. I got pregnant. My little girl was very sick in the womb so I was high risk. I sat around all day and did nothing... and ate a lot. I gained 100 pounds but I have managed to drop quite a few of those off... hopefully for good and hopefully they aren't the last.
My fiance is a body builder. He tries to help me. I can't work out like he does, though. I think I eat pretty good, seeing as how our meals cater to his workout plans. I've started exercising but I feel like I'm going to fail because of lack of a real plan. I'm not sure what to do. I've researched a lot but a lot of the exercises seem complicated... and I get psyched out at the gym. I don't know how to use most of that equipment and I don't have the money to pay a trainer to help me, so I end up on the bike- cycling for an hour.
I am hoping these forums teach me something in the ways of diet and exercise. Lord knows, I need to learn.
Anywho, hello to all again. Feel free to send me a message or reply here. Hopefully, someone does...

Welcome to the community. It should make things much easier with your fiance being a fitness buff. That's' great.

There's no point in getting psyched out at the gym. Do what you're comfortable with and experiment with things so your horizons expand. You might consider reading the stickies in the weight loss through exercise section of this forum. If you have any specific questions after doing so, let them fire.

Best to you.

Haha Marky B I'm sure everyone would love to help, but don't reply to a topic, start your own. Introduce yourself! Let us know what you need help on!

And read the stickies. Asking such open ended questions without a lick of information about yourself won't get you the greatest of responses. If any at all.
