I don't know how much the guys find this a problem, but one thing I've pretty much always struggled with is my proportions. This is the case whether I'm a good weight or not. For me, it's the size of my thighs, but I know most women have something they don't like about their bodies (tummy, butt, breasts, legs, arms, neck... you name it, someone will hate it on themselves). Can be a real confidence killer. One of the things I'm thinking about doing for myself when I lose all of that weight is get some nice clothes, and one thing I hope not to do is to get clothes that show off my problem area. But I'm not exactly sure how to do that. I thought it'd be helpful to discuss problem areas and the kinds of clothes that would help to hide them (or conversely, clothes to be avoided).
For me, I know that pedal pushers are completely out, as they make my thighs look twice as big as they are. In jeans, I have to go bootcut most of the time but will get wideleg where I can (straight will work on me when I'm thinner). Some skirts work on me but not others (but then skirts don't exactly match my personality), and (when I lose more of this gut) wearing more fitted clothes on my upper body (as most of my fat, at least when I'm thinner, is in my hips, thighs, and butt) also draws attention away from my lower body.
What about you? Wht are your problem areas, and what clothes look good or bad on you?
