chia seed and glucomannan; My initial findings

First, the glucomannan. I got interested in this stuff, after hearing that it absorbed a ton of water, and added beneficial fiber to ones diet, but most importantly, helped to make you feel full (as I'm always freaking ravenous, no matter how many cals a day I eat).

So, I took 4 capsules right after my noon sandwich, and within 15 to 20 minutes, I actually felt full ! (Amazing ! As I never feel full !)
I actually went for nearly 3 hours, without ever getting that hollow, hungry gnawing in my stomach {although, I did feel myself starting to slow down, and lose a bit of energy, as my tank ran out}. Still, all in all, it really felt like it helped a bunch.

Then the Chia seeds. At 3pm, I ate about 10oz of Ranier cherries {little balls of sugary heaven;)} and a yogurt, with 3 spoons of chia seed. Actually gave the yogurt an interesting texture, and didn't really change the flavor much. Drank plenty of water with it, and Bam ! I guess they "blew up" quite nicely in my belly too, because again, I actually felt satiated ! Unbelievable !

Long story short, both of these dietary sups seem to work very well, for curbing my appetite "naturally".
So, since I still have just a few more lbs to go on my current cut, I plan to cut my cals (increase my deficit) by another 200-400 cals a day, but to take these sups, so I can still feel full, and to get this phase out of the way.

Of course even on my next bulk, it will be a very long, slow "clean" one.... So I plan to keep eating the glucomannan + chia seeds. Might even increase on the chia's.

So anyway, my initial findings for both of these fiber / bulking / appetite suppressing sups has been pretty much 100% positive. Will report back any farther important findings.

PS, On the glucomannan, they actually recommend that you take 3 caps, like 1-2 hours "before" your meals.... Presumably, because they think > then you will feel less hungry, and eat less during that next meal. But for myself, here's the thing: my daily intake is already planned, made, and in my icebox. It doesn't matter if I'm ravenous hungry, before, or after I eat (like I usually was), or not. What I have in the box, is what I eat. My intake will not change even 1%, regardless of how hungry I am..... It's just that now, maybe I can eat what I need, and not have to be so ravenous hungry all the time.
