chest/pec crisis

So basically the situation is i have been doing just flat bench, never decline or incline, till after a while i notice that my chest was inproportionate. The middle part of my chest was sticking out so it would look as if i had boobs but they where hard, my friends told me its because i didn't do incline as that helps out the more upper part of your chest to flatten it out. right now im trying to flatten my chest, so it looks even not what i have right now where one part on the chest is bigger than the other. What should i do? advice would be appreciated thanks =).

Perhaps you have gyno? I can't see flat bench causing a huge disproportion in different areas of your chest. The pectoralis is a small muscle group. Whether you're flat, incline, or decline you're still engaging the muscle as a whole. What happens when you change inclines or angles is that you get into stressing the anterior delts and triceps to a less or more degree.

But variety is good. I don't know why you'd neglect alternating movements.

I absolutely agree with Evo. A chest press (whether it's incline, decline, or flat) fires the pectoralis major as a whole. Some activities are better at targeting the pectoralis minor which is sits in the upper chest all beneath the pec major. But by an large, a chest press is a chest press. Just try to balance out your movements a bit more.

well right now , im doing incline and kinda paused flat for a while, im hoping to gain some muscle on the upper part of the chest so it would look even out instead of the way it looks now.

i have that to but it doesent look like i have man boobs cause its just the middle part of your chest that sticks out not where the nipple is the doctor told me its normal its just your chest bone sticks out a little more then normal
