I had a cold about three and a half weeks ago and was only sick for about 3 days with it but it's stayed in my chest. I went to the doctors today and found out I have a chest infection and I've been put on antibiotics.
Now for the big issue, I'm running in my first 10km fun run on Sunday morning and I took a day off yesterday and I'm wondering what I should do today? I normally take one day a week off and today would be my day to do a 7km or 10km run depending on how I feel and tomorrow I'd do weights.
With my chest infection do you think I should do a slow hour long run or do my weights program today? Or alternatively take the day completely off which I never do? Help I can't decide for myself!
