Cheating on your diet

Hi guys.
I would like ask about the effect of cheating on your diet. It seems to me that the effect should be minimal considering that the food I ate prior to my diet consisted mostly of the foods I consider cheat foods now. I haven't been losing any weight over the past week and a half though. I cheated on 2 occasions over that time period. I had fajitas(chicken,shrimp,guacamole,veggies,tortillas)-no cheese or sour cream. I also had pad thai chicken today. The rest of the week I had about 14 tons of boiled chicken breasts and other healthy-low carb stuff.
I'm also working my ass off in the gym! Im working harder than I ever have at any point in my 20's.

Why am I not dropping in weight. I mean I know I'm toning up a bit, but at 256-259lb I would figure that the work Im putting in would have a huge effect. I do more work than some people half my size on cardio days.

Weight change, or lack thereof, is not an accurate measure of body composition change. This is especially true for someone who has just made a dramatic change to their nutriton and/or exercise habits. Have you been reading the posts in this forum? :p

In short, give it time. I can't be arsed to explain the obvious, which is that you may be losing fat and gaining muscle mass, or various other things.

I guess Im just basing this off of previous experience. I lost 15 lbs in a week the first time I did the low carb thing and I didnt workout at all...and on top of that I was eating high high fat. I was eating cheese melted into everything! Now Im eating low low fat and low carb and Im working out and I've lost a miserable 8-9 lbs in 20 days:(
I doubt that I'm gaining much muscle. Bodybuilders do 6 week programs just to put on 5-10 lbs of lean mass. I'm no where near as efficient as them in my lifting.

I know I'm making progress though. I just want to win this damn contest!..lol..

yeah. Im doing 30 carbs a day. I know I messed up and derailed myself with the eating out as far as reaching keytosis..but considering Im doing quality calories(low fat, high protein) I should still be making decent progress in theory shouldnt I?

Damn the superbowl. Damn those tasty thai recipes!

Side note: I've eating so much boiled chicken that my pee smells like boiled chicken..lol..
