Hi Guys

have had problems with binge eating now since i was aout 12 and am now 23, although i am not vastly overweight and never have been, i have always wanted to look good and feel good (as eating junk food affects my mood), does anyone know of any books that use Cognative Behavioural Therapy Technques to overcome food addiction, although i do not consider myself one i think it would probably be the closest kind of book to what i am experiencing as these books tend to me aimed at the most extreme cases rather than the milder cases. Any suggestions would be greatly recieved.

Hi, Welcome

Hi,

Welcome, I'm new here too.

I haven't found a good techniques book on Cognative Behavioural Therapy. I have found that NLP exercises work wonders on self image, motivation and self esteem. Affirmations and Visualizations work well also.

Cognative Behavioural Therapy for dummies book might be too beginner level for you. It does have some exercises and techniques.

What is you biggest frustration?

I have some centering and NLP self image exercises that will allow you to come from a place of strength. Let me know if you would like them.

Good luck. I will be glad to help you with anything I can.

Thanks
