Cardio or Weight training or both and how?

Hi

New to this forum. Feels good to be here.

I am trying to loose weight. I was 180 lbs and have not gotten down to 158. Male, 5"7.

I still have belly fat and if not visible but a bit of double chin and chest fat as well. I burn 500 - 600 on the threadmill/elliptical each day and do weights for 45 mins after that for 5-6 days a week. But I am not seeing any change in my body or weight for the last 2 months. I wish to get ripped in 1 year from now. Is it OK to do both cardio and weights on the same day back to back or is it too much for my body to comprehend?

I eat less than 1800 calories a day. Have I hit a plateau? How do i change my routine? Any help Suggestions. Looks like I am losing muscle too. My skin looks a bit loose on the neck and lower abs.
