Cardio after the colds

I have the flu and I've been out of commission for two days now. In my experience, right after I recover from something, my cardio isn't where I left it off. I know that's but normal but there has to be something that I can do so that my cardio capacity doest suffer too much?

When my cardio suffers I feel I'm not able to exercise enough to keep my goals.
 
A couple of days off won't undo your progress... just keep your nutrition in check... and focus on getting healthy... then ease yourself back into the cardio...
 
I have been sick since starting thursday evening. I worked out thursday and then not again until Sunday. I was still sick but it was driving me nuts taking that many days off from working out. Sunday I sweated like a beast and thought I was gonna die....I think it's just a matter of gaining your energy back after your sick...which I'm guessing is why it's important to keep the nutrition up....how your suppose to do that when you are sick is beyond me though. lol.

I've struggled quite a bit (but found it to be more of a mind thing than a physical thing...)

I'm just getting back into it slowly again... better than doing nothing :)
