Can't wait till football

the winter sucks. spring is when it all starts, soon basketball will be on playoffs, baseball is starting up, and we are that much closer to football starting.
whats everyone think is going to happen this year? next NewEngland win?
i'm a bronco fan so i'm screwed, oakland and KC helped thier teams really well while denver has done nothing

Theres only thing I can guarantee is that the Browns will suck again this year :D

no. i dont think they can do it again this year. id watch for the falcons and the ravens. in fact, i think the ravens will be the best team in the afc by a long shot.

yeah, i feel your pain. im a browns fan, and the browns, as aevans said, will probably suck yet again. i hope they just dont suck as bad as they did this year. im not even hoping for a winning record...i just hope we're not in the basement. unfortunately, the afc north, minus the browns, will be wicked next year.

now my buckeyes on the other hand...well...they should be good next year. the linebacking corps of schliegel, hawk, and carpenter will be unstoppable. also, with ginn, holmes, and pittman another year more experienced, we may actually have an offense.

now if only a few morons on the team would learn to keep themselves out of trouble...that would be great. as much as clarett is disliked here in columbus, i hope he succeeds just so he shuts up. and i hope dennis dodd and trev alberts find hobbies.

I agree that the Bucks will be tough if they can keep out of trouble. I disagree with Clarett succeeding. I hope he fails miserably. I laugh in his general direction.

i hate the falcons. i don't even know what the ravens have done though, why are they a team to be watched for?
i think if oakland gets a decent quarterback to throw to randy moss then they will be dangerous.
i wont count the browns out. it always seems to me that they have a chance but little things screw up. they could easily be a sleeper team

the ravens have had championship caliber defense for years...now they have probably the best CB tandem with samari rolle and chris mcalister, ray lewis (as much as i despise him) is the best linebacker in the nfl, and reed had a breakout year last year. theyve got aruguably the most dangerous power RB in the nfl in jamal lewis (assisted by a good offensive line), todd heap is a guy who is just getting better each year, and now they have a vertical threat at WR in mason. on top of this, boller is actually starting to become a threat at QB.

As much as i hate to say it, i think the ravens will have a good year.

okland may be dangerous next year. i think randy moss should flourish, just by not being at minnesota (i dont think mike tice could win a superbowl with and nfl allstar team). i think they will also be a team in the run for the playoffs.

however,my way-to-early knee jerk prediction is: ravens vs. falcons in the superbowl.

haha yeah...i have to admit i had some satisfaction after he lumbered across the line in 4.8 seconds. that just doesnt look good when you run a 40 yard dash time slower than a lot of defensive linemen, then walk away from the test. i just want him to be distracted somewhere esls, so he just doesnt stir anything else up.

i wonder what he thinks of espn...i think the only one tom firend damaged more than OSU is clarrett.

lol greenbay is past thier prime. they had a good run until denver suprised them in my personal fav superbowl. brett is too old to really do anything, at least he wont end up like vinny switching to other crap teams and sucking realy bad. he should and i hope he will retire as a packer

honestly, i think greenbay will suck next year. their offensive line got gutted, and while brett farve is a great qb, he will be running for his life in the backfield for most snaps. sharper is gone, as well as i think a couple of other defensive guys. this is a huge loss for green bay. also, the o-line problems will shut down their running game as well.

Yeah, Favre was great but he's done. Unlike Vinny he CAN'T play anymore. The guy is injected with nutrient supplements in in spine after games... It seems hes gotten a concussion every year for the past 3 years and he can't take the hits.

Great QB, but he's done. He was done last year. He was contemplating it and should have retired but they convinced him to stay on another year while they train the rookie.

Denver should do alright. I dont think KC created the defense they need. And Denvers running system seems to pop out runninbacks every 9 months. They should start training monkeys so they can trade them for 2 draft picks the following year. Geez... There division is tough but I think theyve got a crack at it.

What about those eagles? Aside from the TO bull they lost another reciever and they look VERY shaky in pre-season. Lucky for them theyre in one of the worst divisions.

Just hope NE doesnt even make the play offs this year. Sick of hearing about them. Id rather have the Eagles take it (like last year) and I'm a rival fan. Giants.

Winter OWNS, time for FOOTBALL!! WooHOOO
