Cannon's Journal

Cerella is here with me. We've been to the beach with her daughters and folks and now they've gone and left us alone together. Don't worry, no trouble here.

I am very glad to know Cerella. She is fun to talk to, a lot of fun, and we both spoke highly of you.

Greetings from Qualicum Beach, Vancouver Island, Canada.

She has considered moving to this island. I wish she would.

And her legs are to die for. (As is the rest of her!)

Hey Val--I'm having a good week. I wanted a gyro and darn it I had it. Today I ate healthier, but had 3 beers.

Hey Randy--It really is helping. Some people noticed today. I was very happy about it.

Cerella and Kelly--Oh I know she's to die for. You are both pretty awesome. Its pretty cool that you two share a friendship too :)

Yesterday I didn't eat so good, but I didn't eat horrible. I was out with my friends from my old school. It was something I really needed to do. It made me feel a lot better about my situation :). I'm off to the last day of seminars (God they're boring) and then I'll work out after school.

If the number of healthy-eating days is > than the number of bad-eating days, I think you're doing pretty well.

I'm really glad to hear the trainer is working out for ya. Working with someone really seems to have made a huge difference for a lot of people. As it turns out, the gym wants to give me a second attempt at that training session that didn't work out well. This time they're handing me over to a woman. Word on the wire is she's a great trainer and takes people seriously.

Did I mention on my bad trainer experience that at age 24, I think I just might have been older than the guy who worked with me? I know I shouldn't judge someone on age, but I don't think this one has had a lot of experience.

Sunny - I think the most important thing is finding somebody who will treat you as an individual. I'd definitely take advantage of another try with a different trainer.

Val - You get what you give in life and you've given us all a lot of suport.

Looks like I'll be going on strike next Fall. They want us to work 45 minutes longer everyday and they want us to work more days and for this they want to give us a 3% raise. I figure if they're going to ask us to work 15-20% more hours they should start by upping our salary that much. I'm proud of myself. I just worked out at 5:00 after telling myself I'd blow off today and go tomorrow.

DAMN! That's tough, strikes....At UCSC after I graduated, the sudents striked and camped out front and gave free education...the regents called the pigs on them to mase them and sleeper-hold them. It was like those poor kids got kicked into a closet full of Gila Monsters! :(

So I'll be gone most of today, but I wanted to wish everybody a good weekend. I'm still having trouble cracking through the 382 barrier though my current medical situation isn't helping. Hopefully, after the chiropractor things will be better.

Ive been 208 forever Joe - LOL...Good luck to breaking that barrier but once you get your problem outta the way it will happen for sure...Once again and as always thanx for your support and words...:hug2:

It is so strange that there is little recognition that not properly valuing teachers means not properly valuing our children.

You should be proud. That has got to be one of the toughest changes.

Nothing terribly exciting. I'm going to Gen Con which is a major nerd fest. Its fun people watching. I have a blast and it lets me get back in touch with my inner geek. If I am lucky most of it gets paid for which is even better. I bought some healthy snacks and a resistance band. The hotel has a fitness center and I intend to work out on both Friday and on Sunday. I'll be back Monday, but this is the first vacation I've ever planned to work out on. My weight is staying steady, but I am starting to get compliments from people who think I've lost more weight. Either everybody is starting to be nice to me or the 3 weeks I've spent so far is starting to pay off on the abdominals. I like to think the latter.

I've had a lot of friends go to Gen Con, but I've never been. I hear its a lot of fun. I wasn't ever into the gaming enough to justify it I guess.. But I kind of wanted to go to watch the people who are really into it.

Some of the costumes are simply amazing.

Fun stuff! :D

The most fun is when the Colts have a Sunday preseason game and all the scary gamers in costume and all the scary football fans in face paint and bascially costume are walking down the street right next to each other.
