Hi, my name is Sandy and i just turned 15 a few months ago. I noticed that my weight had been increasing over the past few years. I use to be 100 pounds but know i gained 16 pounds. I really want to lose that 16 pounds and return to my old state. I'm worried that i might gain even more. Also i'm trying to exercise for about 10 days by running and speed walking but it seems like there is not effect. Can someone please help me , i would really appreciate it. :)

Hi, do not focus too much on your weight. Allthough this is very hard in todays day and age. I would suggest just being as active as you can. This does not mean you have to go and "work out". Run around and play some sports you like. Go for a run, walk, swim or bike ride.

Be active and stay away from fattening foods.

Keep smiling and be happy.

116 pounds doesn't seem to be too far out of the normal range for a teenager like yourself, unless you're really short. At this point in your life, when your body is still growing, you want to be careful to eat enough calories to develop normally. In the long run, you'll be much happier if you focus on developing good, healthy eating habits and a sensible view of being active. Good luck!

^ I agree. 116 pounds is a really good weight for a 15 year old---and yes, your body is still growing and changing so don't worry to much about weighing in at 116.
