I love pizza and i think that is the one thing that is hard for my to give up, so because i want to eat healthy but still enjoy foods i looked around for ideas so today i decided to try it and i am sure many people have already done this or seen this but if you have not then here ya go...
i enjoyed myself a 236 cal. pepperoni pizza today
got me a 100% whole wheat pita
low fat ragu sauce
low fat mots cheese and turkey pepperoni, now when you read the back your not going to use a 1/2 cup of sauce so make sure you only count the stuff you use which i used 2 tbsp which was more than enough same with the cheese, 1/4 cup was plenty but hey if you like cheese just make sure yoU had the extra cals. in there and you can always change it up, throw some peppers veggies whatever you want and still make it a healthy pizza or even cut the pita in half and split the ingredients in to 2 and have 2 pizzas for the price of one.
after all that said i ate it and enjoyed it and it also killed my pizza craving, yeah it doesn't taste like your favorite pizza from the pizza place down the road but it's better for you.
