Can I participate if I'm using Herbalife?

I just started Herbalife again this week, and am excited about it, since I used it many years ago and it worked very well. I only want support for weight loss though...hope that's ok.

Would love to hear from others who are using it so we can compare notes. Can't do much exercise due to chronic illness & pain, so Herbalife is great for me. Also makes me feel better and helps me focus and feel more energetic (which I desparately need).

Hope to find others who can relate.

Herbalife is going great so far. My girls are fixing me as shake right now, in fact. Even with the holidays and all the xtra food around, it's been great, for energy and appetite control.

And no, I'm not ever going to "sell" anything. If anyone asks me about getting products, I'll just privately give them my seller's name and contact info. That's it.

I've having trouble with hunger at night and snacking then. Anyone else have ideas for dealing with that??? It's hard since I'm a nightowl and am usually up late.

These are just some of the problems I have with Herbalife..the biggest is being that you are shelling out a lot of money for hype and..well..stuff you just don't need. Weight loss is knowledge and Herbalife doesn't teach you the things you need to know to lose weight and keep it off for the rest of your life. Unless you want to finance the seller's new car for the rest of your life, you are going to eventually have to stop the program. Then what? You don't have your crutches so you are more likely to fall down and regain the weight. Cut out the middle man and learn proven and simple changes to what you eat and how you live.

You need knowledge and the application of that knowledge..not a gimmick shake or magic pill.

Here is the part I disagree with Heather, there is no medical or scientific proof that Herbalife does anything. You have to change your own diet habits and exercise so of course you felt like you had more energy. Saying your immune system was stronger is your own perception and not actual science because there was no way you could test it unless you was part of a study.

Did your dodctor tell you that the mold made you gain weight? It is the first time I ever heard of that side effect. Usually it is the other way around when you get sick. I don't buy it. People often look for outside influences that recognize their own role in weight gain. You can do all the things you said you did and still gain weight because you ate too many calories. Healthy eating doesn't mean calorie control. You also quoted detox which has been debunked every which way past Sunday that it is a fraud.

Sorry, but it sounds like all that actually happened is you changed your diet and exercise but you lose weight also in your bank account. There is no scientific or medical studies proving this stuff to be anything more than junk.

There is one other factor I take into account when reading your statement Heather...your own personal viewpoint/gain in pushing products like this. Your home page goes directly to a company selling products..instantly making your opinion a little suspect on motive.

Sorry if you feel this is a negative turn of a thread. When you bring up something like Herbalife and such products, there will be debate. If you feel like what you support is worth defending, you are welcome to do so.
