Hi, I've registered in the forum from about one year, but you can consider me a new member as I didn’t log since then :) when I registered I was planning to my wedding and I want to look pretty on my day, actually I lost some weight (I was 209 lbs then on my wedding I became 187 lbs) this was not exactly what I wanted but it is better than nothing.
now I reached 220 lbs (did I mention that I am 5'4”?) and I am 24 years but I feel that I am 34, I am so lazy and not energetic, I feel that I am losing my life, I have a pretty husband who is encouraging me to exercise but I always let him down, I am so sad and I started to hate myself although all people loves me:(
I tried to list my problems with weight loss may I be able to compete them, and I’ll share them in brif with you
1- I am not a multi-task person, I can’t focus in my work + my house+ my studies (the master I am doing) and weight loss!
2- Through this extremely busy life, I really don’t have time to exercise.
3- I really want to have a baby :$ ( you might call me crazy but its ok because I am! ) so, every time I start to do some exercise I got afraid that I might be pregnant this month and I might be harming my baby :( (and every month I discover that I am not! :D)
I came to the new members forum as I really want support, I want to know how to start, the weight loss plan is the item in my to-do list that is always subject to postponement, it is always in the second priority coz I tried and i failed before, and I don’t want more failure, I really want to reach 150 lbs and see myself satisfied and happy, cant I? Can I get myself back again?

YES YOU CAN!!!! :)

I am also 5'4", formerly 220, and busy!!
My suggestion to you is to pick one thing that is unhealthy (just a small thing) and pick something that is healthier to replace it with. I picked pop - I loved it! Drank wayyyyyy to much of it. I decided that I would no longer drink pop. I started by allowing myself to drink water and other non pop things (like iced tea, lemonade, juice) and then worked on drinking mostly water with the other non pop things as a treat. Once you are comfortable with that change - make another small change.

If you want to loose weight you have to make it a priority - if it is not a priority, it won't happen.

Exercising while pregnant will not harm your baby (unless a doctor has told you not to exercise while pregnant for a specific medical reason) it will be better for your baby if you exercise during your pregnancy and even better if you lose weight before becoming pregnant.

I have learned that nothing gets easier with time. I catch myself saying, "If only I took better care of myself 10 years ago. Why can't I go back in time and tell myself to do it!" You need to change that kind of thinking to "My 10 year older self came back in time and said THANK YOU for changing now - my life is AWESOME becuase you made this change now!"

You can totally do it and you have come to the right place to start! You should read through the stickies and start a journal on here - you will find the support, motivation and resources you need to succeed!!

I will, I will :)

Thank you for your motivation, I really want to put it as a priority, I've just read your reply then I called my husband to tell him "I decided to lose weight!" he was so happy with me, I WILL START NOW!
