Ok... I am 5ft 7 in tall and weigh 285 lbs. I used to weigh 340 about 8 months ago. I started dieting and excercise and lost all the way down to 268 and gave up.... I just got tired of dieting. I since have gained nearly 20 lbs in 2 months and not even eating all that bad. Anyways, I have started working out again, 7 days a week, 3.5 miles to 4 miles a day on the treadmill and have an average calorie intake of 2000 calories. My job is very physical, I clean apartments for a living when people move out and im on my feet 7 hours a day. I also take Alli if I have more then 10 grams of fat per meal, which is rare and I take a multi vitamin before bedtime. My long term goal is to be 200lbs before next November & 225 before summer in June. Are these realistic goals if I keep up what I am doing? Can I at least expect real good results? Thanks for everyones input! God Bless!:patriot:

a realistic goal is 1 percent of your current body weight a week -though some weeks you might see more, some weeks you might see less.. What you want to focus on is consistent behavior that will take you thru the rest of your life...

What's the Alli doing for you? Why do you think you need it?

Nutrition is going to be your best weapon in gettin down to the weight you want to be... How are you keeping track of your calories and when you get down 50 or so pounds -what are you doing about calories then? You want to m ake sure that you're eating for the body you currently have and give yourself calorie wiggle room down the road...

I perosnally think that 7 days a week on the treadmill is a bit much... i'd drop that to probably 4 days a week and add in some weight training...

Spend time with the stickied threads araound the forum... there's good info to be had to help you
