I am a 32 yr old male from the UK who has just re joined a health club after two years. At my last club I was given a program involving weights and cardio but now I would like some advice on a new fitness program. I am overweight so I have changed my diet already. I am 5ft 8, and 16.5 stone or 105 kgs. For the first two sessions back I did an hour just on cardio, 20 minutes on runner, cross trainer and bike. This was ok considering the time I have been away! Can anyone advise me on cardio session times and or weight programs? Should I incorporate free weights into my sessions? Thanks. David.
