Hi everyone just joined the other day and I've been trying to figure out how many calories I need a day and I am having a tough time getting an answer that makes sense.
I just did a google search for calorie counter's and this one came up
I input everything it asked. I am 23 years old, 5'8 (69inches) 260 pounds
I'd like to lose 60 pounds to start.
After inputting everything it is saying that if I was to eat 3200~ calrioes a day I would maintain my weight assuming I am not doing much physical activity.
around 2700~ if I want to lose weight while still doing little to no activity.
I have a free iphone app called myfitnesspal that is suggesting with the very same numbers that I should be consuming around 1900 calories a day.
so I am kind of counfused, I am getting different answers. What would I need to do to get an accurate number to look towards.
