Hello! Well, I've lurked on these boards for awhile and I've found a lot of inspiration from the stories and journals. Now I'm actually going to get involved...yay! I am a college student and I'm working on losing fat and gaining muscle. I am doing a Physique Transformation from physiquetransformation.com. I am really really excited!
Ok so background..I struggled with anorexia in high school and have really messed up my metabolism through the past few years. The concept of the PT is to rebuild and heal the metabolism before going into a fat burning phase. The Conditioning phase brings calories up and into the correct ratio for metabolism boosting. I ate almost 2700 calories every day in conditioning but my measurements and my weight stayed the same. At first I thought I had gained, but I realized the old scale I used was 10lbs off..now I have a new one. I have finished my conditioning phase of 5 weeks. And I'm beginning week three of Fat Burning right now. I plan all my days the night before on the website- it has computer software that shows you exactly what you need to hit each day as far as calories, protein etc.
Anyway...I've lost about three lbs in the past two weeks...which is exciting- and I am definitely gaining/have gained muscle. I am at 167lbs...my goal right now is 135 although mostly I care about my measurements. I'm 5'8" BTW.
For exercise, I do a workout called T-tapp which I think is the most amazing workout ever!! It's unlike any other workout I've ever done. It focuses on building muscle density in the core, up the spine, and long leans muscles. I guess it's sort of like a combo of tai chi, dance, yoga etc...but really the moves are completely original and different. And it gives really good results as far as inch loss. I also like it because its helping balance my hormones and it is an intense lymphatic system workout too.
So anyway, now that I've gabbed about my plan, I guess I'll wrap it up. Oh, I do cardio but only twice a week right now- on my low days because the program Im doing cycles calories so the metabolism never slows. Looking forward to sharing my journey and also getting to support other people in their journey's as well
Have a great day!
