bulking forearms and wrists?

THey are not telling people how to get strong forearms... Their bodies are merely reflections of their daily function. They aren't even worried about building big forearms... It just happens. Just like hikers have big calves but do no calf raises.

No, you did worse than actually suggesting an exercise (like the Bruce Lee thing), you just mentioned that rock climbers have big forearms. But we aren't rock climbing, so how does that add value to us? Tigers have very strong legs, yet they don't do squats.. so we shouldn't do squats either right? Refer to your flawed logic comments in the other thread.

okay muck. but what about the reps thing? is one roll one rep? or is one rep when you roll the whole thing up and then all the way down to the floor again?
just have to find out how im actually going to use this thing.

or should i do this farmers walk thing instead of the wrist roller?
remember im on the bill starr 5x5:p it says that you shouldnt mess with it too much.

I like the wrist rolls. I'd try both and see what works better for you.

One set is rolling the rope up and then back down. I do 4 sets, alternating them so you're working both sides of the forearm (so 2 sets of each).

okay, hope the wrist roll will improve my grip, i know my grip is weak, if i try to squeeze peoples hand when i shake it i never win:p
the wrist roller is alot harder than it looks:p tried it today and i really felt it:p though i think ill add some weight since i could do 2 sets right after eacother. and i should only do one before i rest for the next. so, thanks alot ;)

I did not read all the responses but my forearms improved dramatically when I began deads. I do some isolation exercises but have found some of the smaller gorups like forearms and calves have been able to grow through my compound lifts.
