Broken Finger!!

I broke my index finger on my left hand on friday.
(sucks cuz I happen to be left handed)
I have decided that I will not let this have an adverse affect on my trainning.
I'm pretty mad about it b'cuz I have been making some serious gains lately in both strength and size.
I figured I would us the opportunity to let my right side(arms and back) catch up to my left side since
it always seems to be lagging behind about a half rep.
But at the same time I don't want my left side to go untrained for 4-6 weeks.
I was thinking if I pick up some trainning straps that might help my grip that I am obviously going to lose.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do.

Ive broken fingers and trained in the past. Its fine with pushing exercises but not with pulling. My advice would be to do what you can and try to minimize atrophy as much as possible.

Make sure that you keep tabs on it I broke one of mine and now it doesnt have full range of motion its a pain in the backside because its hard to grip in some exercises.
