Hello Everyone!
I'm in kind of a unusual situation in that I just had my second child and I would really like to loose the weight both from this pregnancy and my 2-year-old, but I also plan on breastfeeding my daughter for at least a year. (I was never able to diet after my son was born because I bf'ed him until my second pregnancy.) I have read that a bf'ing woman, like a pregnant woman should not try to diet and that bf'ing itself burns about 500 extra calories a day, so I have started by adding more physical activity with both cardio and weights and weekly yoga and also trying to eat a healthy, balanced diet and limit the junk food. Still, I'm concerned that I'm not going to get that far without reducing the calories I take in. I'm ravenous all the time and even with the extra activity and eating healthy, that's still a lot of calories. Anyone have experience with this or advice?
Thanks!
