Hi everyone!
I just stumbled across an article called ... and have decided to break the cycle... While I have gone a long way towards my goal weight I've kind of been stuck in what I call my "Bouncy Region" for about two years...
It's called the Bouncy Region because I *bounce* up and down within about a 5kg margin and continue to tell myself that it's OK because I'm nowhere close to what I used to be... But, I'm sick of the excuses! I'm sick of not being motivated, and I'm sick of keeping it all to myself...
I don't usually like to talk about my weight... and at first the idea of sharing with strangers seemed a little desperate to me... but I figured if the outcome is going to be different, then the process has to change as well... So, here I am! Laying it all out and leaning on strangers to help me reach my ideal weight and shape... There's a bit of positive self-talk slipping in... hehehehe And, from what I've read in the forums so far, I'm excited about joining such a supportive and knowledgeable group!!!
While the article was encouraging, in the sense that it sounds like it could've been written for me... It also made me realise the trap I had fallen into about making excuses... So, here's to the final 10kgs!
