BRANFLAKES.. Not passing stools, more wind!??!

I LOOOOOVE branflakes and usually each them each morning with skimmed milk. They contain lots of fibre so I'd be expecting them to help me pass stools regularly. I haven't been going to the toilet reguarly for ages, but I've just had LOTS of wind.
HELP?
What should I eat?

The good and bad thing about fiber is that not only will you poop more regularly (not necessarily "more" but better) but you'll fart a lot more. It's the nature of the beast and aside from taking anti-gas pills like beano, you're just going to have to deal. Sorry. :(

If you want to be more regular, I'd get some more natural plant fibers into your diet. Avocados, tomatoes, beans, and artichokes are all chock full of fiber. Your bran cereal is good, but if that's all the fiber you're getting in a day it's not enough.
 
Make sure you drink enough as well. Piles of fibre without enough liquids is a surefire way to get yourself constipated.
