I didn't know where else to post this thread, so forgive me 
My trainer kept me in front of a punching bag for a long time, and really, 3 minutes of that KILLED me. Probably some of the best aerobic workouts I ever got involved punching (and later, kicking) a punching bag.
What is it about these exercises that is so damned intense?
