Boobs, Bras and Bouncy Bits

I use Champion sports bras. But everyone has their preference. That is just one suggestion.

I use the Champion sports bras as well.. You can get them at Target..

I guess it all depends on your breast size, I'm a D, and the Champion ones work pretty well!

there are generally 2 different bra styles, one that pulls over the head and one that has fasteners...

the larger busted you are the more difficult it is to put on the over the head styles...

Gap makes a really nice High impact sports bra in colors -and comfortable too.. that fasten in the back.. (they have a few different styles that aren't high impact)

Victoria's Secret also makes a nice one but t hat's just not pretty looking but it's functional...

you really have to try them on and feel what's good on you.. and jump around in the fitting room

how else are you going to know if it's got good bounce protection...

It's suggested that when you try on a regular bra you do all sorts of moving around to make sure you don't pop out or gap anywhere... (more women would probably be wearing the right size bra if they did that... )

haha my daughters were laughing at me the other week when i did that. They asked why and i said i had to be sure i wasnt going to fall out (it was a bikini top that time though).
I also made my daughter do it when she got her first one. Its worth doing !

My Momma never told me to do that! :rotflmao:
And I never figured it out on my own!-HELLO! :ack2:
No wonder I have about 30 bras that dont fit!

That's too funny....when thinking of going out and buying one I had the image of myself bouncing around in the change room!!

This has been a problem for me for a long time.

I am large chested (38DD) and find that the over the head versions offer virtually no support, and trying to find a regular style in my size is almost impossible.

I finally found some, regular stlye and in my size at KOHL's. The brand I found that carries my size is LILY of FRANCE. And I must tell ya- they not only fit great, they keep me cool as they are absorbent, and they look great on. I actually like to admire myself in the mirror wearing only the sports bra and bike shorts and that is GREAT Motivation!

I highly recommend these bras!

I hate it when the "GIRL'S" pop out!!!
If I could just get them to stand at attention, :patriot: I could be in good shape! I'm so over having boob isues!
The only thing I have going for myself is the fact that they get small when I lose weight :smilielol5:

Best Sports Bra?

Ok sorry guys...but for all you women...you know the deal a sports bra is key especially during cardio. I did 45 minutes yesterday (usually only do 30 at a time) and discovered my back was killing me after and that maybe my sports bras are not so great. Any suggestions as far as better brands etc?

1. Make sure you are wearing the proper size bra.. most women do not - as mentioned above -GET FITTED.
2. Try ona bra and bounce around in the fitting room

Depending on your cup size is the bra you should be wearing - if you're bigger than a C cup -look for high impact sports bras..

I did get fitted and did the jump around test and I'm still at a loss

what makes you think it's your bra then? Are you very busty? (I'm way too well endowed - and have never really had a problem.. ) I personally like the high impact sports bra from The Gap or the really ugly Victoria's secret sports bra... they keep the boobs from bouncing.

How's your posture when you're working out?

Are you sure you're not leaning over or leaning back or doing something else that could be contributing to the pain?

Do you get bacak pain any other time?

yeah a double d (before the weight gain a d so I'm used to there being enough in that area) I have a few from victorias secret and a few from a sporting goods place. It used to happen every once in a while before I gained weight if I was doing an hr or so of some sort of cardio

I thought posture may have been it but I made sure my back was straight.

My back usually doesn't bother me at all and where the pain was it seemed to make the most sense that that was the issue. Plus there was a little tenderness up front.

the problem with a lot of the bras sold at sporting goods stores -is that that they're designed for women who wearing a sports bra is more optional and an accessory - than mandatory to avoid black eyes not to mention breast tissue damage.

When you did the bounce test - did your breasts stay in place or did they bounce a bit...

this article had some pretty good tips
