ive got an ideal body fat % rather than weight as im looking to add muscle as i lose fat. the last gym i was a member at had a gadget that attached wires to your feel and hands, had you lay down and worked out body fat % (i was at about 60% then) my home scales have a body fat % function but its always been way off and the new gym im at only has a similar set of scales, i was looking at getting a hand held body fat monitor but dont know if there going to be as inaccurate as the scales or not? any advise would be great and if anyone can recommend something thats accurate, at least in your experience, that would also be a real help
