Hi. I just got DEXA body fat percentage analysis done and found out that I am 33.5% fat. However, my BMI is 21.1 (I'm 5'6" and 131 lbs). What is a reasonable weight loss goal? (The computer printout from the analysis suggested 107.5 lbs/20% fat as a goal weight but then my BMI would be 17.3, which isn't healthy.)
I am so frustrated... I work out for an hour five times a week, try to eat healthy, etc. and I am still technically too fat!!!! Auughh!!

It's my humble opinion that you should take into account your body fat percentage over your bmi.
I'm not an expert but this is what I believe.

I will also add my humble opinion. Hit the weights HARD and HEAVY while you try to lose weight. Ensure that every pound you lose is purely fat. Minimize cardio (1 day per week) and LIFT LIFT LIFT. In order to 'fix' your numbers you need to maintain your muscle and lose the fat - if you do too much cardio you will lose MORE muscle and only succeed in a slight reduction to your BF%.

I know many women think that if they lift hard and heavy they will get bulky, but this is an absolute myth. You can not GAIN muscle when you are in a calorie deficit and you need to lift hard and heavy just to maintain the muscle you have.

Good luck to you!

Personally i wouldn't say lifting heavy is necessary. Plus you're gonna need to keep your cardio.

I would keep jogging (if you do that), lift what you can lift to keep your muscles toned and incorporate a lot of protein in your diet to prevent muscle loss.
