Bikinis by June!

Btw, I have been going tanning....to a salon since the weather hasn't exactly been tanning quality and I have found that being tanned has made me look slimmer.....just a thought for you guys. Of course, don't overdo it under the sun or tanning bed!

I'm still around. I was a little horrified when I realized it was June already. I'm still in though. I am definitely not in bikini shape, yet. To be honest I probably won't be in bikini shape when I reach my goal weight. I've been taking bikini pics from the launch of the club, so at least I look better than I did then!!!

Though I'd never go to the beach in a bikini.... I'll definitely take one for the team and post a picture. Are we wanting to do it now or towards the end of the month? I'm good either way, but it would be nice to have a mass posting (how's that for micro-managing, LOL).It doesn't seem like anyone wants to be the first to post. LOL! I wonder why??!!!

Let me know when and I'm in Joey.
 
I saw your "teaser" bikini pics on the before/after, Joey. Lookin' good. Can't wait to see the full-meal-deal on here. Great work and hot bikini!
 
Ha, ha! Why don't we post on the last day of the month, it will still be June after all and nobody said when in June the pic had to be posted :p

It looks like it's just you and I for now. My "teaser" pic may look okay but, thats cause you can't see much of me, thank God for water :p Plus I was laying down so the fat doesn't all hang.

So, the end of the month everyone? Anyone else still game?
 
I second that. Go for it. I know that I am definitely not where I want to be, but I'll post. It ain't going to be pretty...but I'm going for it.

Joey-- Its amazing what water and gravity will do. Maybe we should all take our pictures like that. LOL.
 
So it is the end of the month... I hope to god that at least a few of you are going to post pictures as well. (I will hunt you down if you don't...) I'm going to take one for the team and post first.

When I donned the bikini today I though, "Oh my god, I look soooo hideous still". I'm definitely not where I'd like to be to where a bikini out. When I saw the old pictures it made me feel a heck of a lot better. I guess I have come a long ways, already!

Here goes. I have befores from when the club started in January and afters (really not afters, I still wouldn't wear a bikini looking quite like this) taken today.

What do you guys thing about continuing the club a few months long to see where we'll be say at the end of the year? Same thread, new thread?

Okay I feel like an ass. I never posted my picture(s). I haven't been on here in ages since I've had non stop visitors in town from all over. I've been so busy!

I will take a picture later and post it.

Lusciouslemon: Great job on posting the pics and sorry I let you go solo for so long. I will join the bandwagon later :)

Btw, you have made a huge change all over. You look incredibly slimmer. Also, I wanted to add that I think you can get away with wearing a bikini out to the pool beach etc... I don't think you are as big as you think you are but, we are always our own worst critics, right? I wouldn't think anything if I saw you at my pool because you don't look too shabby, I go to my pool wearing a bikini and we are about the same size and I see women much heavier than me rocking a two piece all the time and nobody bats an eye lid.

Good job again for posting your pics :)
 
Well here's are my pics as promised.....sorry for the massive delay! Btw, I just got home from softball so thats why the grubby look, hair tied back, no make up.......just figured I'd better post pics as soon as I had a chance and I wasn't going to do makeup and hair just for them :p

Oh! Oh! Can we start a "bikini's by January" for my cruise?! lol!

I second the idea of hanging the bikini on the fridge...I've secretly been ebaying a pink number that I hope to be wearing by January. I figure, if I can meet my weightloss goals each month...then I can financially afford to buy a single bikini each month up until my cruise. Better than food reward? I think so.

The bathing suit is actually two totally separate ones, I just grabbed what I found first, got the top from Old Navy (only $10) and the bottoms were from Target ($15).

As for bikinis by Jan, feel free to start your own thread, I'm sure people will join. I'm out of the next one since only one other person posted a pic.
 
xnatsx don't worry, there is still more than a month of summer left. BTW you didn't say which June ;) Maybe subconsciously you meant June 2009.

i am going for bikini definately this coming june! i am getting married June 20, 2009 and need to wear a bikini on my honeymoon!! ;)
 
Yep, I set June 22nd, 2009 as my final destination cuz it is the first day of summer and I plan to buy a bikini and strut around showing off all my hard work! Good luck everyone!!!
