Hi everyone, my name is Adrian and I have been obese most of my life. I just moved to Las Vegas about two months ago. Before that I lived in Santa Cruz, CA at my heaviest weight of 475, being an active place it made me want to lose wieght to experience more. So, I joined the gym, started walking, and watched my eating. After about a year I made it to my current weight of 375. However, during the move, job search, and general partying/bad eating that Las Vegas offers my weight loss progress stalled. I am back on the right path again, I work out 6 days a week, I do about 10-20 minutes of weightlifting, then 40-70 minutes of walking at a good speed (2.8mph) with the hill program at the highest setting. Things are going good, I just have to wait for my body to stop fighting the weight loss, then Ill be good to go.

Thanks, Its hard to stay focused when theres so much weight to lose, but once you start seeing results it gets a little easier.

Weekend went well

Kept to lifestyle change this weekend, did have one cheat meal, and did a little drinking, but stuck pretty well to my new goals. Did some more grocery shopping, and should be cooking it up soon. Im going to weigh myself on Friday to see how everything is going.

Im Back

Sorry, been away for a little while. I have some good progress to report, weights down to 360, thats a 115 pound weight loss in two years. Ive recently started school to become a massage therapist (and no I didnt just choose this to get chicks), Ive started a part time job and ive been eating the healthiest in well........ ever. My friends are noticing the wieght loss without me telling them, and Im noticing it as well. My goal is to be 300 or under by my 29th bday (October) which would be 175 pounds below my heaviest weight. Ill try to check in more often

going well

Things are still rocking along, clothes fit real loose now, can see some weight loss in legs and back. I have a lot more energy now, I actually find it difficult to sleep sometimes, even though with the level of activity now used to knock me out, no it just feels normal. Im starting to become a little more flexible, Im more comfortable in seats and cars that I could barely fit in before. I just cooked some chicken and think Im going to have a salad before I go in for my refloxology final tonight. Im going to wait for this Friday before I weigh myself again, Im hoping for good results, but seeing the actually physical and energy results has helped me tremendously. I should be starting a new job on monday that would help me pay off debt and give me some health insurance. Otherwise things are going well, I feel a lot less depressed than I used to, which also helps, and I feel a lot more confident than I used to. Im going to try and take some pics soon so I can show the rest of you what I look like. Thanks for listening

Weighed myself today at the gym after the workout, came out to 353, thats 7 more pounds in a month. That brings me close to 125 pounds lost in two years. I plan to be under 350 by the end of this month (March), and hope to be around 300 for my friends wedding in Sep, and my birthday in October. My only problem is that the weight loss is not as satysfing as I thought it would be because of some other things going on in my life, but I am trying to deal with those problems and get back on track to being happy in life.
 
Great workout

Another good workout today, getting better at cardio and shoulders are getting stronger after a bad car accident I had a couple of years ago. Took a final for reflexology and passed with almost 100% I get my treat meal this weekend, and im thinking of hitting up a sushi restaurant. Well, good luck to all of you out there.

Treat Day

Had a chill out day today. Im pretty sore from yesterday, I did a gym workout, a heavy bag workout at home, then spent about 5 hours helping my roommate change the shocks on his bmw. I also had my treat (not cheat) meal earlier, It was Sushi, which isnt that bad for you in the first place, and took a nice long nap.
 
I have to say.... It was a good day

Went to work, boss likes me more and more, brought my lunch which consisted of chicken, whole wheat tortillas, and a little spicy guac. Had and apple and a banana as a snack. Came home, chilled out for a minute then hit the gym, had a good workout, came home and now im chilling out. Im trying to go to sleep early so I can study for my massage basics class final tommorow, but well see how things go.

still pluggin along

Things are still going well. Im pretty sure I aced my massage therapy basics final on monday. Ive actually been getting pretty good workouts on the treadmill because ive been studying while walking. I have my anatomy 1 final this thursday (tommorow). I cant wait to weigh myself on friday to see how im doing so far in march. Im going in for a complimentary workout tommorow at la boxing, and Ill hopefully have another job soon.

I havent checked in for awhile but things are still going good. I joined LA Boxing and go whenever I have the chance. Ive lost some more weight dropping down to 349, which is my lightest weight in about ten years.
