Best scale?

Just wondering what the best brand/type of scale is to buy? the digital ones or manual? I have a digital one and its giving me all kinds of crazy readings like today it said i was 219 3 times and then started saying i was 223 so i dont know what i am.

I think the digital scales sometimes go whacko. THey lose calibration sometimes. Ive tossed a few of them that were consistently reading 6-8 lbs over

Well i guess that can also be a good thing cause i might be way lighter then i thought :) what brand of the manual ones do you like? Thanks

I have a sunbeam (walmart special). Make sure to pick up one with a manual adjustment and big dial, the others are hard to see

i got one from wal mart for like $40 (canadian money) and it broke... its telling me i weigh 230, so its like 50+ pounds off, and if i stand on one side its different than the other side, im thinking about picking up a high quality digital scale, the springs always break in the manual ones.

Yeah but like allen said, They lose calibration sometimes. Probably better for a spring to break and be 50 pounds off then be geting the wrong weight for a long time without knowing.

I can also tell some by the way i feel. But in my opinion weighing yourself every day is the best thing to do, I know alot of people say only once a week mainly because weight goes up and down so much and you will get discouraged if its up one day and thats really good advise cause alot of people would just go on a binge and quit if that happend but i like to know how my weights changing in case im gaining alot and then i would change my diet rather then waiting a week and then ive gained 5 pounds :)

i think my weights gone up tons, all muscle of course :)

I was wondering about that, Your weight went up pretty fast and unless you were eating pizzas all day i dont see how it could have went up that fast if it was fat :D

I tryed out that routine you were telling me about and ive been geting huge gains from just 2 days. I do 70 pounds 7 reps 2 sets drop 20 pounds and do 8 reps 2 sets drop another 20 and then i do like 25 reps all at once then after that i do seated tricep press's with 65 pounds 8 or 9 reps 2 sets and man my biceps, triceps and shoulders are geting huge :D

yeah the gains are huge with that, thats why i do it.

yeah my scale is also broken (only one side works) so im not totally sure what it is, plus my weight goes up and down by anywhere from 10 to 15 lbs, when your my size its not allot.
