~ Belly Button Ring Club ~

I don't know if this idea has already been thrown out there but for those of us who do get our belly buttons pierced...we should post a picture. I think that's motivating :).
 
I most certainly will... if I even get one. i really want one but the weight loss not going as well as hoped :(
 
Someday *sighs* In about 3 years I'll get mine done haha.

I love peicings. I have my nose peiced and I used to have my eyebrow priece (body rejected it) and now I just have a scar.

My great aunt gave me $40 for a belated birthday present, so I set it asside for my Belly Button Peircing Fund. How much does it cost to get it peirced anyway?

I'm still 14 lbs off my goal for August 31st for my belly button ring.. I dunno if i will make it. Its possible as there are 6 weeks left so if I loose 2.4 lbs a week (ya.. right.. steady weight loss is like a dream) I could still make it.

Hey well this is pretty nice because I've always been fascinated by piercings but being overweight i dont think that i would have the courage to have someone see me. Like the piercer.
 
You just join. Set a goal.. and vow to get your belly button peirced once you hit that goal :) simple! :D
 
firstly I love that u girls have this as a goal! its awesome motivation, i already have my belly peirced.. so i cant use it as motivation for me, my goal is to make it look good haha, i want to be able to sit and not have the flab completely hide it.. and i do recomend people to get it done because when i got it and when i was still skinny, it looked soo hot i luvd it.. also, it didnt hurt one bit so dont worry bout that part! :)
 
Hey crissy.. I am the queen of stretch marks.. :p when you gain around 50 lbs in one year you get major stretchies. But I am still going to get it.. and yes.. the marks do fade :)

I am going to extend the contest to August 31st.. for the late comers... and hopefully we can track down the rest of the group to participate :)

And as for pain.. I figure being 40 min under a needle for my one tattoo.. a belly button peircing should be a breeze.
 
hey avi i loove tatoos and ive always wanted one and im going to get one sooner or later, do u have any general advice?
 
If pain bothers you.. go for a very meaty part of your body... not your shoulder blade. The tattoo on the side of my calf muscle was not very painful and I think places like that are smarter. Anything close to a bone will hurt like hell.

Only other peice of advice is make darn sure you want it... and you are not only willing to live with it the rest of your life but will enjoy it. I have the one in my picture (butterfly with eyes) on my shoulder and the one on my calf (star of David) and I am still inlove with them.
 
kk thanks! im gonna think bout what i want for a few years, i havent even turned 17 yet so i think ill wait for at least 4 or 5 years now since ur right when u say ill hav to really love it:p thks
 
I got mine 3-4 months ago... just before I turned 20.. its a good idea to wait till your sure :)
 
Well i am going to get my belly button pierced and even though ive always thought that it is going to be for me so it doesnt matter if im skinny or not just the thought of having the piercer see my gut is scary! But even if it takes me a long time i am commiting myself to doing it. Not mattering what tries to get in my way.
 
Well im not really sure, but for the most part i would be okay just getting out of that 200 section. Currently i have a lip ring and a tongue ring which i absolutely love. At least for those size wasnt an issue.
 
Are you willing to get one at 200 lbs or better yet.. 199? I loved when i hit the 199... was so thrilled. :)
