Hello everyone! I am hoping that this forum will help keep me motivated and on track. I had tried this many times over the past 15 years and and have always failed.
 
Welcome Darlene! hope you have a life changing experience. Generally when fatloss fails is because your still in love with the old habits and bad foods. Also those around you can be supportive or destructive.

It's a mental game, you have to form brand new attitudes towards your body and how you want to treat it. Put it into your way of thinking that there are foods that will ultimately kill you. Find out what those bad foods are and just stay with the healthy foods and habits.

Keep this in mind - a bad day only turned into a diet failure because you allowed it to...
We all have bad days... The trick is to acknowledge that fact and not decide that a bad day has to be followed by another bad day because you are a failure... You have to treat yourself with understanding and forgiveness and get straight back on track... The bad day will hardly have an impact at all if you follow it with a good day.

Even if you have 10 bad days in a row - you can follow it with a good day and things will sort themselves out surprisingly quickly...

Work hard with your food and exercise and reap the rewards with the figure of your dreams... you have it in your power...

Hi Benny,

Sorry I haven't even been on this. I got and forgot about the forum but my diet. I start one month ago today. Start weight 202.6 and I now weigh 192.8. My goal is 140
 
Thank you Frances! I have been dieting for 1 month today! I have lost 9.8 lbs so I am happy! It's hard though!! I have cut my calories to about 1200 and I have average 5 miles a day since I began a month ago! Good luck to you too!!!
 
Thank you! I have been doing just that! I try to keep my calories to 1200 and I am walking everyday!! I have cut out all bad habits except one! I love coke a cola, so I allow myself one a day! On really rough days I have two, but I make sure to increase my exercise!!!
