Hi Lisa

Congratulation to the upcoming wedding! It’s great you are determined and motivated to lose weight. When you mentioned that any new diets work for while but then you start packing the weight on again, maybe it would be good idea to see the weight loss and obtaining a new healthy weight as your new life style not a quick fix diet or a program.

Also when you notice that the diet stops working and write down exactly what is happening. Are you still keeping up with the exercises and nutrition?

I hope you take measurements and take pictures before starting any of the diets as weight itself is a very poor measurement. (muscle is heavier than fat, so when you are gaining muscles and losing fat your overall weight may still keep going up).

If you feel better in your clothes (loosing inches from waist, hips etc) and look better in mirror that’s a great sign.

Make a plan and stick to it. Make yourself accountable. With every new regime your mind and body refuses it, till you reach 30 days without skipping/changing the regime than will become your habit and a new life style.

I hope this general advise will help if you have any specific question about your diet please let me know.

Hi Martin

Thank you for your advice I have heard/read many times about not being on a diet but eating healthy, and you are right I don"t look at it in the right way, I am going to take your approach and I will also keep in mind about the 30 days ,something I hadn't heard of before!

Thanks again

Hi Lisa

You're most welcome. Setting up the rewards and also "punishments" if you don't do certain tasks is very important that way you keep pushing yourself going ahead. I'm not sure what is the biggest challenge for you but focus on that particular hardest task and for every days you stay on track give yourself a reward...

Let me know how's going and what in particular is the hardest, most challenging for you.

Keep up the great work

Martin
