basketball training aid

Ive used similar things. THey are crap. Just watch some tape of nba players and check out their form. Also, good form doesnt always equeal good results. Look at Reggie Miller. One of the best shooters ever and his shot looked like some kind of full body spasm. Do what feels comfortable.

ive been wanted to change my shot for a long time but nothing seems to work so i thought i would try a training aid but im not sure if they work

i agree, sean marrion has an ugly form as well yet has a decent 3 point

Shooting will not be based on copying an nba player, but more looking toward their movement, foot placement, or arm angle

It took me 2 hours a day and 1/2 a year until i developed a shooting style that i was really comfortable with and that allowed me to get a quicker shot

I looked toward Micheal Redd,Cuttino Mobley, Manu Ginobili for shooting styles and tried them all since they are left handed until i felt which one was more comfortable and developed one off that style and form

Try standing about 5-10 feet away from the basket and shooting with your good hand only and your other hand behind your back

.... the problem with people is they try to mimic other peoples shots

if you can't shoot start with the basics. go out and get a good basketball book and read about fundamental shooting

the fact that you can't shoot is a good thing because you wont have to break any old habits you can just start from a base and create a good shot
